Poliform IYO Ristorante

Interiors Realizations Lifestyle

New beginnings

The IYO restaurant, located at number 74 via Piero della Francesca in Milan, has undergone a major transformation by Lai Studio | Maurizio Lai Architects. The new project brings to the scene a modern take on Japanese cuisine in Italian style, making no secret of the fact that it seeks perfection in this fusion.

In an area of 800 square meters, the ingenious renovation has created a space that has allowed the creation of a sophisticated interior with a luxurious yet understated character. The emphasis is on precision in design, the combination of materials and thoughtful lighting, which together create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Poliform was involved in the project from the beginning and built the structural elements of the restaurant, including two rooms available for private events and a lounge bar located next to the entrance. Natural walnut wood ceiling and flooring add elegance to the space, while paneling and bulkhead panels, made from a variety of materials, provide depth and interest.

Poliform also supplied bespoke furniture, including square and round tables with Patagonian marble tops. In addition to these, it also fitted the restaurant with side tables combining marble and steel. The chairs and armchairs, covered in bouclé fabric and textured with black elm, create a dramatic effect.

The restaurant has its own wine cellar with steel shelving and wooden sideboards with hanging inserts in marble and steel. The private lounge has been designed exclusively by Poliform, with a grand steel counter, stylish armchairs and perfectly matched accessories dominating the space.

The contemporary concept offers clients fantastic cuisine combined with impeccable design.
